This kit is for the successful grower, or a beginner who has their own grow setup. We provide this kit as an option for you to continue your growing journey, with minimal overhead.
At High Mountain Mycology, we are not here to make a fortune. We are here to help get this valuable medicine to the people who wish for it. That said, we do not compromise on quality. No cheap grow bags. No cheap bird seed or popcorn as substrate. We use locally procured rye berries as a food source, which for many strains, is the gold standard. This kit is an affordable step to starting your own mushroom grows. Here, we have maximized the quality, and minimized the price. This kit includes:
A package of 6 micropore adhesive circles to place over the pre-drilled holes. These provide a seal to the holes in the tub and allow the exchange of fresh air, with minimal risk of contamination.
A measured bag of substrate. The approximate amount of coco coir, vermiculite, and gypsum for a 30 quart size grow.
An inoculated jar of mycelium with rye berries. This is the step in the process where many people make mistakes. We inject this for you in a completely sterile environment, to drive the margin of error down to zero. We also back up our jars with customer service, and in case of mistakes (ours or yours), full replacement.
